Hispanic Scholarship Fund 2024

The Hispanic Scholarship Fund was established in 1975 to support Hispanic-American college students in completing their education. Scholarships are offered competitively for community colleges, four-year colleges, and graduate students of Hispanic heritage.

Hispanic Scholarship Fund helps students of Hispanic heritage pursue a university degree. 10,000 exceptional students are chosen as HSF Scholars from a diverse and talented applicant pool and given scholarships.

As an HSF Scholar, you gain access to HSF’s valuable Scholar Support Services and may qualify for a scholarship based on available funds.

  • Each year, around 10,000 exceptional students are chosen as HSF Scholars from a diverse and talented applicant pool.
  • HSF Scholars enjoy a comprehensive array of Scholar Support Services, including career services, mentorship, leadership development, knowledge building, and wellness training.
  • Career services provide opportunities for HSF Scholars to access select internships and job openings with HSF corporate partners.
  • HSF Scholars can apply for all Scholar Conferences, such as the STEM Summit, Finance Conference, Media & Entertainment Summit, Entrepreneurship Summit, and Healthcare Summit. They also have exclusive access to the HSF Insider, which shares valuable information and career opportunities.
  • Importantly, HSF awards over $30 million in scholarships annually. Depending on available funds, HSF Scholars may be eligible to receive a scholarship ranging from $500 to $5,000, directly awarded to students.

Eligibility Requirements For Hispanic Scholarship Fund 2024:

To be eligible for any scholarship awarded by or through the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, applicants must meet the following general requirements:

General Scholarship Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Must be of Hispanic heritage.
  2. U.S. citizen, permanent legal resident, or DACA recipient.
  3. Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for high school students; minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for college and graduate students.
  4. Plan to enrol full-time in an accredited, public, or not-for-profit four-year university or graduate school in the U.S. for the 2024-2025 academic year.
  5. Submit the FAFSA or state-based financial aid forms, if applicable.
