University of Cambridge Scholarship Application terms and conditions

The following states the terms and conditions of use of the University of Cambridge Applicant Portal:

  1. There is an application fee for some applications, and if this is applicable, payment must be made via the secure online payment tool before you can submit your application through the Applicant Portal. Check the application fee webpage for information on which courses require an application fee and details of fee waiver schemes. The application fee payment is subject to a 14-day cancellation period. For more information, see the application fee terms and conditions.
  1. You must ensure that the information you enter within the Applicant Portal is in English and uses English characters only.
  1. You acknowledge and agree that by submitting your application through the Applicant Portal, you are responsible for the completeness and accuracy of the information within it. Any incorrect information may result in a withdrawal of your application at the University of Cambridge’s discretion.
  1. By entering information into the Applicant Portal, you give the administering body of your application (either the Postgraduate Admissions Office or the Institute of Continuing Education) permission to access that information before the submission of your application to progress your application.
  1. By submitting your application, you permit the departments and Colleges of the University of Cambridge, the Student Registry, the administering body of your application (either the Postgraduate Admissions Office or the Institute of Continuing Education) and, if you are eligible for funding, Gates Cambridge, Cambridge Trust and other associated funding bodies identified within the application form, to access the information that you have provided to assess your application.
  1. By submitting your application, you acknowledge that you must provide the University of Cambridge with the supporting documentation of your application, as identified within the Course Directory, via your Applicant Portal. Failure to do say may result in a rejection or withdrawal of your application.
  1. You acknowledge that if you miss the application deadline for your course(s) as identified within the Course Directory, your application for the course(s) will not be considered.
  1. You acknowledge that if you are eligible for funding and apply for it within the application form but miss the funding deadlines, as identified within the Course Directory, you will not be considered for the relevant funding awards.
